Outfit & jewelry: What if tomorrow never comes

Triangle Necklace: Rings & Tings ~ Bracelets: Rings & Tings ~ White dress: SheIn ~ Belt: vintage ~ Faux leather jacket: H&M, similar here ~ Lace collar: DIY ~ Socks: Topshop ~ Platforms: Salt & Pepper, similar here

Okay guys, so this time everything's a little different: I guess usually you would put an outfit together and then decide how to accessorize it. With this outfit it was the other way round though. I got the jewelry pieces of my dreams at Rings & Tings recently (seriously, wait until you see the detail shots) and I just don't want to take them off anymore. So I thought hey... what would be the perfect outfit to go with these beautiful gems? And I came up with this look :)
I got a necklace, three bracelets and a ring there and they all have a black and/or silver color. That doesn't only make them the perfect accessories for a black and white look but it also means you can actually even wear them all at once and it looks simply amazing :)
So here they are...

Absolutely love the simple geometric structure of this necklace. It goes with absolutely everything! In this outfit I tried to create some contrast by pairing the triangle necklace with its strict lines with a delicate lace collar.

Now I wanted to get a spike ring like this for ages. As a computer science student most of the time I'm amongst guys, so the brofist is the standard way of greeting someone, In 9 out of 10 cases that's fine. And then there are those who just have to go overboard. But not anymore... Plus it simply looks super badass.

First of all - yep, my wrist is tiny and very scary. It's a genetic thing - we have this super skinny wrist family trait (thanks, Dad). But more importantly I have this super awesome faux leather bracelet <3 I love how it goes around the arm twice and has all those different details to it. It's one of those go-to pieces you can always grab to spice up any outfit within seconds.

High definition phone cameras are awesome but sometimes they capture more than we actually wanna see - like my goosebumps here telling the story of how f...reezing cold it is in Germany at the moment... Anyway. About 14 years ago I saw Avril Lavigne wear a similar belt bracelet and I totally wanted one. Yeah, it really took me 14 years to get one. But good things come to those who wait, right? :D I absolutely love how it looks like 5 bracelets and it also goes with A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G!
And then there's this crescent moon bracelet. It was love at first sight as I absolutely love everything that has a moon shape or print. I'm actually surprised I didn't get it earlier :D I love to wear it with the belt bracelet to mix some different materials.

Now what do you think guys? Which item's your fave?

Outfit: I want goodness, I want sin

Dress: see text below ~ Platform sandals: River Island

Well guys, the good news is: I have this dress. It was a photography/model job so unfortunately the dress is not available in stores yet. But I got to keep it and I can't get over how pretty it is. I went to the theatre with my friends yesterday and I just HAD to wear it although the location didn't even require fancy attire this time :D With this dress less is definitely more. The gold lace against the black fabric is such an eye-catcher all by itself. I just paired it with a pair of black platform heels (sandals for the first time this year - yeah-ha!), a necklace and my hat. Also, not in the picture, my black kitty cat purse you are already familiar with :) As I stated a couple of times before - you can never have enough black dresses, right?
Now the bad news is: you don't even look that fancy in a fancy dress if you can't move your head acting like a swan that tied a knot into its neck. No idea what happened but I woke up with a completely stiff neck yesterday. The doctor prescribed me 10 massage sessions. Maybe it's not even that bad... ;)

Outfit: You're the real thing

Crop hoodie: H&M (old) ~ Distressed boyfriend jeans: Ann Christine ~ Platform boots: asos, similar here ~ Kitty purse: H&M (old)

This look has a lot of personal meaning to me. A while ago I may have told you about ripped-jeans-guy, a lecturer at my uni I've been crushing on for at least a billion years. He got me obsessed with distressed denim and after quite some time he is back in my life now. So I somehow felt like creating an outfit that looked like... him (yeah, this is super weird but me being in love is such a rare phenomenon. No clue how to deal with this :D ). It was always hard for me to find the perfect distressed boyfriend jeans though. So when I saw my friend Claudia wear this beauty this week I just needed to get it. I'm a huge fan of boyfriend jeans with lace tights underneath because they give them an unexptected feminine twist. The crop hoodie I got last year at H&M in Amsterdam and I love how it's super short but still covers the hands. I added some platforms (so my legs wouldn't look too short in those pants) and my kitty purse which always looks cute and badass at the same time (just like a real cat). This is totally gonna be one of my "go-to looks" that'll always work for everyday life like uni or hanging out with friends.

Have the most amazing weekend, fellow adventurers!

Jewelry: Spring awakening

Hey lovelies!

I'm really excited for this post :) During the last week I was lucky enough to capture the transition from winter to spring with my camera while shooting some gorgeous new additions to my jewelry collection from MadamLili. They have the most awesome nature inspired jewelry and even items with real plants, seeds and flowers. And aren't those just the perfect accessories for spring?
So let me show you all those beautiful gems :)

I instantly fell in love with this agate-amethyst necklace. It's the perfect mixture of nature inspired and witchy and therefore it's the perfect companion for girls like me who are never sure whether they're a goth or a gypsy ;) Also, I love that it's real 925 Sterling Silver and super high quality <3

I topped off the outfit with this stunning subtle bracelet. Quite recently I noticed that I really don't have a wide range of bracelets although I actually like them. The reason I got this one is that it's super beautiful without screaming for attention. I like the feminine and grown-up look it has to it. Because of its subtlety it's an everyday piece as well as an accessory for more elegant attire.

These are real actual seeds! I absolutely love how much effort the people at MadamLili must have put into making jewelry from a material as delicate as this. When I look at this pendant it feels like I can see the dendalion seeds dancing through the spring air :) Doesn't this make you dream of picnics and walking barefoot through the grass? I also love that black absolutely isn't the obvious choice for a background color here. But it matches all my clothes :3

This is a bit of a premiere for me as I don't think I owned any Asian inspired jewelry before. For some mysterious reason this necklace instantly reminded me of Rei Hino from Sailor Moon. Somehow I thought this would be something she'd wear :) It's such an eyecatcher when worn with a black top - it really spices up any plain monochrome outfit!

This necklace is another favorite of mine from this haul. With this piece of moss enshrined in a necklace I can carry a piece of nature wherever I go :) It also reminds me of both a pocket watch and one of these hypnosis pendulums (is that what you call them?) - which makes the necklace look even more magical. There will definitely be an outfit post featuring this beauty as it's not necessarily just a spring item.

When I went for a walk last week on the first warm day this year I also spotted the very first tree in full bloom (it was actually the one in the picture :D). It must have looked like I was trying to inhale the blossoms but I was so happy that after this rather long winter spring is really finally happening. Unfortunately I can't and shouldn't wear the tree as jewelry but I got matching earrings! I usually wear rather plain earrings as long ones would get caught in my hair, especially when it's super windy like on the day these pictures were taken. So these flower earrings are the perfect choice as they super practical while totally getting me in the spring mood und looking super cute!

What do you guys think? Which item is your fav? If you're interested in getting these beautiful nature inspired pieces check out MadamLili's website. Also, at the moment you can get a free pair of earrings with your order over 25 € (until April 5th!).

Have a great Sunday everyone!
